Just over the border from Hong Kong is the bustling city of Shenzhen.  It was formed as an Economic Zone by the Chinese Government in the early 1980’s because of its location.  Today the Shenzhen locals enjoy pretty much the same standards of living as the people in Hong Kong, and off course wealth brings all the luxuries of life, like owning pets.  Here’s a list of the clinics:

Shanghai

A number of Veterinary clinics have been established in recent years around Shanghai City.  Mostly privately owned although there are a few that are under government hospital authorities.  The majority are run by local veterinarians, and some have Australian trained Doctors. There are no laws governing the dispensary of medicines so therefore all of the pet shops stock various animal medications and vaccinations available for purchase over the counter.  Click below for details of the various establishments.
